Holt sits right next door to Lansing, and Lansing Junk Removal can clear out your garage, basement, spare room or shed, or take away the couch or fridge nobody wants to wrestle with anymore.
Here's how it goes. We come out, look at what you've got, tell you an exact price, and if you say go, we carry it to the truck. No surprises at the end.
Holt isn't its own city. It's an unincorporated community that covers most of Delhi Charter Township in Ingham County. It sits just south of Lansing and the interstate, with Mason off to the southeast and Dimondale to the west.
That means we're close by whether you live in the middle of town, out toward the township's quieter roads, or up in the north end, once a separate area known as Five Corners or North Holt. Fun bit of local history: the town started out as Delhi Center before the post office switched the name to Holt so mail wouldn't get mixed up with Delhi Mills over in Washtenaw County.
Wherever you are in Holt, the process stays the same. One trip, one honest number, and the heavy lifting is on us.
Our minimum is $175. That gets you a pile about the size of a couch. Past that, the price depends on how much space your stuff takes up in the truck. A half load costs less than a full one, plain and simple.
The on-site estimate doesn't cost a thing. We give you the exact price before anything moves, and there's no obligation. If you like the number, we can usually load it up while we're already there. You can read more on our pricing page.
Heads up on a few heavy or tricky materials: construction debris, rocks, bricks, tile, tires and shingles add to the cost. Tell us about them when you call so your price is right from the start.
Choose whichever fits your day.
If it's household junk, odds are we take it. A few of the usual suspects:
To keep our crew safe, we don't take biohazards like dead animals, feces or anything with bed bugs. We also skip used oil, open containers of liquid, 55-gallon drums of liquid, and cars.
A little yard waste mixed in with your load is fine. If you're staring at a huge brush pile, though, a lawn or landscape company is usually the cheaper call, and we'll tell you that straight.
We also handle whole-space cleanups. Think a garage you can't park in, a basement full of boxes, or a shed that's been a catch-all for years. Our junk hauling crew takes care of the stairs and the carrying.
Clearing out a family member's home is hard enough already. Our estate cleanouts go at whatever pace works for your family, and we steer around anything you want to keep.
Got just one big piece? Our furniture removal makes quick work of it. We're also in neighboring towns, and you can see our junk removal in East Lansing page for that side of the county.
Lansing Junk Removal is owned by Scott and Alicia Toupin, and we've been hauling junk around greater Lansing since 2008. Our crew members are background checked, and the company is licensed, bonded and insured.
